1. What we collect

If you create an account: your username, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash — we cannot read it). If you complete the Financial Health Score: the score and category percentages, never your individual answers. If you complete lessons: which lessons and your quiz percentage.

2. What we deliberately do NOT collect

Calculator inputs (loan amounts, savings, zakat figures) are processed entirely in your browser and never sent to our servers. The Zakat calculator logs only that a calculation happened — never any amounts.

3. First-party analytics

We record anonymous usage events (page views, tool completions) tied to a random session identifier, to understand which features help. These contain no personal or financial details.

4. Third-party analytics (with your consent only)

With your explicit consent via our banner, we use Google Analytics 4 (with IP anonymisation) and Microsoft Clarity (anonymised session recordings) to improve the site. Before you consent, no third-party requests are made and no third-party cookies are set. You can withdraw consent by clearing the site's stored data in your browser.

5. Email

We send transactional email (verification, password resets) via our email provider. If you opt into tips, you can unsubscribe any time. We never sell or share your email address.

6. Data retention & deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@cashdir.com. We delete within 30 days.
